Although a lawyer by training, Shelly gravitated to television journalism thanks to a passion for people, places and the art of storytelling. For 14 years, he worked at the highest levels of network TV - at CBC, CTV and NBC - writing national news, then producing reports, features and documentaries in Canada, Europe and the Middle East.
Shelly's keen eye for the visual, his rich experience and that same passion for powerful storytelling led him to create his own video production company in 2003. Since then, he has collaborated on a number of high quality video projects with Burke Cader Media Strategies.
