Daniel Drolet is an experienced writer/editor with an extensive background in print journalism. He has that rare ability to produce quality work on tight deadlines, grasp complex issues rapidly and write stories that are clear and to the point. Daniel's work encompasses newspaper and magazine articles, website material, speeches and reports. Perfectly at ease writing in English and French, his byline has appeared in more than 30 newspapers and magazines across the country. He also regularly does communications work for government and non-government clients.
Daniel taught journalism for two years at Carleton University as a sessional lecturer and has given training workshops to students at Algonquin College and elsewhere. He has for several years been a member of Algonquin's Journalism Advisory Board.
Daniel's practice is co-located with Burke Cader Media Strategies in downtown Ottawa and he was part of a winning bid involving Burke Cader to provide communications services to Canada Post.
