Michelle Banning strength as a communications consultant is a strategic approach to media relations and a keen understanding of what makes news and how a story will play. For more than 20 years, she has provided sound communications advice to senior executives in both the public and private sectors.
Michelle's association with Burke Cader Media Strategies dates back to 2003. During that time, she used her considerable talents and experience to play a lead role in a series of projects with Burke Cader including: recommendations to raise media profile for national associations, a comprehensive media audit, a departmental study of media lines production, a presentation to a departmental communications retreat, media room development for websites, and planning/executing media events.
Michelle's studied business administration with a focus on marketing. In 1990, she received the President's Excellence Award, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
