Alvin Cader is a respected communications professional with more than 30 years of experience in communications consulting and journalism. Drawing on a distinguished career in broadcast journalism at the national network level, Alvin brings an intuitive news sense and knack for telling interesting stories in plain, easy-to-understand language - skills he shares with public and private sector clients.
He is an inspiring media and presentation coach - helping spokespersons achieve the comfort and confidence they need to be effective, successful communicators. He possesses a clear, crisp writing style that can be seen across a range of assignments - speaking notes, media lines/key messages, communications plans and reports, to name a few. Alvin is bilingual and equally at ease conducting communications workshops in both English and French.
Before entering consulting, Alvin was the National Assignment Editor for CBC Television on Parliament Hill, effectively the Deputy Bureau Chief. He is an alumnus of the Journalism Program at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in Toronto and studied classical languages at the former Sir George Williams University in Montreal.
